Singapore Design Festival 2007
Singapore has a reputation for being one of the strictest countries in the world.
When the Design Singapore Council (DSC) approached us looking to advertise their new bi-annual festival of creativity - The Singapore Design Festival, we needed a solution that would introduce Design to the everyday Singaporean.
Aiming to inspire, we produced a Guerrilla campaign that put our very own twist on authoritative street signs that Singaporeans were so used to seeing.
Provoking the public’s imagination, our campaign was so successful that half of the signs were stolen the day it ran and drove crowds to the event while it lasted. Campaign won a Silver Effie, including press coverage.
Art Directors include: Ashidiq Ghazali, Adrian Chan & Lauren Tan
Copywriters: Troy Lim
Agency: Ogilvy & Mather, Singapore
